ICOP Manufacturing facility is situated in Shenzhen City, Southeast of China. It is a 3-storey building with a spacious 1,000 m2 in each floor to cover the facilities for –SMT Line, DIP Line, Test Line, Assembly Line. Here is a simple definition for each floor – First floor consists of Three SMT Lines, Second floor consists of one DIP Line and a Warehouse; and finally, Third Floor consists of two DIP lines, two Assembly Line, Solder Touch-up, Repair station and Packing. DMP Group has 3-SMT machine to accommodate the production of 40,000 boards (P4 mother board) per month. The assembly line is a complete line that can also integrate systems.  

 

SMT & DIP

The SMT Line consists of 3 AI machine (AI stands for Automatic Insertion) + 3 Surface-Mount-Technology machines with varying speed: AI M/C consists of Samsung’s two hi-speed models in CP4-1 & CP4-3, and one mid-speed model no. CP3. SMT have Samsung’s two mid-speed /model no. CP40/CP40L, and one standard speed model no. CP40LV. The CP40/CP40L SMT machine can produces 1,000 boards a day, while CP40LV SMT machine is use for pilot run and smaller scale production that produces 500 boards per day.  

 

 

Assembly & Test

All finished product (board-level products) and semifinished product (PC board for system assembly) undergoes a complete process in testing of all functions for each designated PC board. It constitutes the importance of each process in the manufacturing line, and checks the mission and goal of each process – all boards are 100% tested before the final QC inspection. The Final QC acts as the arbiter for the Final Customer. This is the Assurance of the Quality for DM&P products.  

 

 

QA / QC

The Visual Inspection Station for SMT semifinished product (boards) is a very important processt of our QA inspection (Quality Assurance Inspection). This station observes and checks for workmanship, dislocation, improper soldering and missing component with thorough inspection criteria. This is also 100% inspection process for the semifinished product from the SMT.
